This photo is one from the marketing of my first book in the The Beauregard Mystery Series, “SUNNYSIDE ROAD –

PARADISE DISSEMBLING’ published in 2018. the photo shows, in a darkened light, a beautiful street in a suburban neighborhood. The cover of the book, not withstanding the body lying in the foreground, is bright with a large sun shining on all. The shade in the picture above gives us glimpses of a setting for horrible happenings in a neighborhood in the fictional town of West Side, Massachusetts. Writing is words for creating pictures in our heads and all pictures need words to help in possible interpretations. Each of us, whether we be writers, readers, viewers, or artists — sees, feels, and thinks in a personal framework. That framework informs our individual lives.
K. B. Pellegrino, Author
Kathleen lives with her husband Joe and their dog Othello midst their large family in Springfield, Massachusetts.
"My love affair with plots, murder, mystery, spies and, in general, with crime novels began at an early age. I read and read – probably have read 2,000 crime novels since then. Even at an early age, I developed my own plots if only to cover up my misdeeds to the chagrin of my family and teachers. Some less creative called it fibbing!
Now I write from the love of plot – of people and their ways –of life – of philosophy – about crime –about the sociopath/psychopath."
