Musings and More…
Work, just plain hard work!
Currently I am editing my seventh novel, where I have developed a new character, a woman named Beryl Kent. MCU Captain Beauregard thinks she is intrusive. Well she is, but her behavior helps him. Such fun! Enjoy the weather.
Perhaps with all the problems we have faced with this pandemic, we may have had the space and time to review what we believe is of real importance in life, and whether our current helter-skelter lives are a road to reaching our real goals.
I realized that doing things twice happens a lot in my life. Perhaps someone from above is forcing me to slow down. A greater lesson given me is the renewal of spirit when I must face difficulties. This is just a small blip in my life, but my spirit is renewed.
Come look at the sturdiness of our plants and my West Mast MCU Captain Rudy Beauregard, a survivor of life and professional storms.
I will not let such a long time go again before I vacay. The effort to overcome my inertia and travel was well worth it. I had my vaccine and wore my mask, but still had to push myself for this opportunity.
I tire thinking about it all, but I am also grateful for the lovely actions of so many people, some, later, long term friends, I have had the opportunity to meet or work with. I had time this week to enjoy my history and willingly accept another birthday. I feel love to all I’ve met along the way.
So no matter what you may think about green shamrocks on the streets and carnation corsages on coats and green and gold wreaths on the doors, I think of this holiday as a rejuvenation in my soul for love, forgiveness, and passion for my life’s direction.
I need a happy soul to allow me to invent scenarios, characters, and dastardly deeds to use in my novels.
